The model is delivered ready to run.
Lighting:
The model has front and rear lamps that change illumination depending on the direction of travel. The interior light illuminates the cab interior and the rear of the loco has power sockets for powering Orient Express Cars.Steam Generator:
To turn on the steam generator use the switch on the bottom of the car. Then some smoke fluid (from either the included capsule or LGB No. 5000) should be placed into the funnel. The funnel should only be filled halfway, otherwise the steam generator cannot develop the heat needed to evaporate the steam fluid. The amount of steam generated depends on the engine speed. Operating the locomotive without steam fluid does not hurt the steam generator.Drive Mechanism:
This model is powered by a seven-pole Bühler motor. 3 axles are powered. One wheel is
equipped with a traction tire.

This sale is for the LGB 2070 Orient Express Locomotive but be sure to look at the 3097, 3098 and 3099 Orient Express Pullman Cars we are also selling at our store. These all came as a set from LGB's Museum when the LGB factory and museum closed it doors for good.
Cab Lighting is provided and both cab door can be opened, The engineer is factory mounted in the cab.
Note the switch at the front of the loco that turns on the smoker when moved over the center of the smoke stack nut. Also notice that the rear two wheels provide power pickup as well as the 6 drive wheels!.
